Antibiotic
awareness programme ( In connection with antibiotic resistance awareness
week- WHO) Programmmes conducted by our college On 19th Nov '18 we conducted. 1. At Taluk Hospital, Cherthala – started with a flash mob and skit related to antibiotic resistance awareness distribution of leaflets regarding antibiotic resistance and safe use of antibiotics. 2. At St.Joseph’s public school Pattanakkad - flash mob and skit program followed by interactive session for high school students emphasizing students role to promote rational use of antibiotics by Pharm. D students Jose J., Christine Maria George and Maria Tom. On 20th Nov 1.At St Josephs college of pharmacy seminar and interactive session regarding antibiotic resistance awareness by Dr.Grace Mary coordinator of antibiotic stewardship programme at Believer’s church hospital. 2. Quiz competition regarding antibiotics (basic chemistry to clinical applications) for pharmacy students by Mr.Praveen Raj faculty SJCP. On 21st November At Lourde’s Hospital Cochin - Flash mob followed by skit programme followed by distribution of Leaflets to the public regarding rational antibiotic use. |
