Overview
The Socio-Economically Disadvantaged Groups (SEDGs) Cell of St. Joseph's College of Pharmacy, Cherthala is established in line with the vision of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 to promote equity, inclusion, and equal access to quality education. The Cell works to identify and support students from socio-economically disadvantaged backgrounds by facilitating access to academic, financial, and institutional support systems. It strives to eliminate barriers to learning, foster an inclusive campus environment, and ensure that every student receives equal opportunities to learn, grow, and succeed. Through awareness programmes, mentoring, counselling, and student SUPPORT initiatives, the SEDGs Cell is committed to empowering learners and promoting social justice within the institution.
