About National Service Scheme

The National Service Scheme (NSS) is a flagship youth development programme of the Government of India that aims to develop students' personalities through meaningful community service. At St. Joseph's College of Pharmacy, the NSS Unit encourages students to actively participate in activities that promote social responsibility, leadership, teamwork, and civic awareness.

Through regular programmes, special camps, health awareness campaigns, blood donation drives, environmental initiatives, and community outreach activities, NSS volunteers contribute to the welfare of society while developing compassion, discipline, and a spirit of service.

Motto : "Not Me, But You"

This motto reflects the essence of democratic living and selfless service, inspiring volunteers to place the needs of the community above personal interests and work towards building a healthier, more inclusive, and socially responsible society.
